Acer Singapore has brought in the new Swift X family of laptops that provides great screens and high performance within a light and thin form factor.
Let’s start with the Swift X 16. The 16-inch machine packs Team Red’s Ryzen 9 7940HS and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 Laptop GPU as the main computing component cooled by the TwinAir system plus packed with a wide variety of ports like USB-C, USB-A, HDMI, and more for hooking up all those peripherals.
The exquisite screen is produced with OLED that runs in 3200×2000 resolution at a 16:10 aspect ratio. It is capable of reaching a 120Hz refresh rate and a low 0.2ms response rate while having 100% DCI-P3 color accuracy and VESA DisplayHDR TrueBlack 500 that works great across games, movies, and productivity applications.
As for the Swift X 14, it is almost identical to its 16-inch brother except the CPU is now Intel’s 13th Gen Core Mobile Processors in flavors of Core i5 or Core i7. The USB-C ports are now Thunderbolt 4 and the screen is shrunk to 14.5-inch with a resolution of 2880×1800. The rest of the specs are more or less the same.
Price and Availability
At the time of announcement, all Acer Swift X 14 are now available on the official e-store and other online marketplaces like Shopee and Lazada while the Swift X 16 will be launched slightly after but you can know about the price now.
