Sony Singapore has officially launched the new Xperia 1 V and Xperia 10 V smartphones with preorders starting right now.
The naming scheme continues with the Xperia 1 being the flagship model. Armed with the powerful “Exmor T For Mobile” sensor, it consists of a 24mm lens and a large CMOS image sensor together with an 85-125mm optical zoom lens that can be used and serve for professional industries too.
Meanwhile, the S-Cinetone feature has been streamlined and optimized for mobile use which removes the need for manual color grading through presets like Creative Look. There’s also real-time autofocus, eye-focus, and tracking that can help achieve different results for a wide variety of shots.
It also can do 30FPS video recording with autofocus and auto-exposure tracking while the voice priority microphone makes it nice for audio recording as well. Coupled with the signature 4K display which is at 6.5-inch with a 120Hz refresh rate this time around, Sony’s own bread-and-butter audio solution is implemented within it too.
On the other hand, the Xperia 10 V goes for a lightweight yet feature-packed identity. Boasting a 6.1-inch OLED panel with TRILUMINOS Display technology, visuals are more vivid and accurate than competing products.
It also has a 3.5mm headphone jack for wired headphone users while DSEE Ultimate and LDAC codecs make TWS users’ life a little bit better.
The overall design carries a slim frame and uniform bezels which can be simple and minimalistic or boring depending on your taste.
