GIGABYTE has announced the launching of the new A620 series motherboard for the AM5 consumer computing platform as the DDR4 era prepares to fade into the second line in the coming years.
The GIGABYTE A620M GAMING X packs all of the essential parts for you to run the latest Ryzen 7000 series processors with preferably the non-X SKUs for budget-centric builds. With 4 DIMM slots for utilization, it can take up to kits of DDR5-6400 with ease via AMD Expo and there will be at least one PCIe 4.0 M.2 slot following the usual x16 slot. Everything is powered by an 8+2+1 phases digital VRM solution. A combination of USB-A and USB-C on the back and front headers together with Ethernet rounds up the requirements for most builds out there.
On the other hand, for those who don’t need wireless in 2023 which is kinda uncommon but definitely possible, a non-AX model also exists for the gang that wants to save a couple of bucks.
