Last week, Acer has revealed lots of new products but we’ll just be covering 3 families from the laptop department for now. Let’s see what’s in store.
For the ChromeOS enthusiasts, there’s the new Chromebook Spin 714 and Chromebook Enterprise Spin 714 that now comes with an up to 13th Gen Intel Core i7 CPU with optional Intel vPro support, 14-inch 16:10 display with WUXGA resolution and 100% sRGB color gamut, QHD 2K webcam, and up to 10 hours of battery life.
It can also be rotated fully up to 360-degree which you can then use the USI stylus via pen input to quickly jot down some notes or draft some pictures. Built according to the MIL-STD 810H military standards, it is tough and durable for everyday wear and tear.
For the performance powerhouse tier, the new TravelMate P6 14 takes over the spot with its 16:10 2.8K OLED display with 100% DCI-P3 plus some great hardware consisting of up to 13th Gen Intel Core i7 CPU with vPro, 32GB LPDDR5 RAM, and 65Whr battery.
Use it for on-the-go video calls via the integrated FHD IR camera with Windows Hello support without worrying about peeping eyes thanks to the PrivacyPanel layer. It also supports 2×2 Wi-Fi 6E and 5G connectivity so you can access fast Internet connectivity wherever you go.
Aside from that, there’s also the TravelMate P4 14, TravelMate P4 Spin 14, TravelMate P2 14, and TravelMate P2 16 that fill the rest of the space in the hierarchy tiers. Their key highlights include the distinct GPU which is the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2050 and 16:10 2.2K IPS display.
Similar models come in the form of the TravelMate P4 14, TravelMate P4 Spin 14, TravelMate P2 14, and TravelMate P2 16. The former two come with a distinct NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2050 GPU while the display is changed to a 16:10 2.2K IPS display while the latter two are more or less the same with similar computing parts and very little I/O difference.
As for the Swift laptop enjoyers, the new Swift X 16 should bring the competition closer to the designer levels of machines with the CPU and GPU capable of going up to AMD Ryzen 9 7940H CPU and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 Laptop GPU with Studio Driver.
Coupled with a maximum of 16GB LPDDR5 RAM and 2TB PCIe 4.0 SSD storage to go with the gorgeous 3.2K 16:10 OLED screen with 100% DCI-P3 color gamut and VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500 certification, work and game on this thing can only be described as beautiful.
Frequent video conference attendees will appreciate the FHD camera with Automatic Framing and Eye Contact technology. I/O wise, it has 2x USB-C ports, HDMI 2.1, and more.
As for the Swift family, one model stands on top which is the Swift X 16 made for the creators and designers who need to work on the go. Representing the Team Red + Green combo, it houses an up to AMD Ryzen 9 7940H CPU and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 Laptop GPU with Studio Driver pre-installed so you can use it out of the box to start your work immediately.
Memory configurations are available of up to 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 2TB of PCIe 4.0 SSD storage. The astounding 16-inch 3.2K 16:10 OLED screen achieves 100% DCI-P3 color gamut and VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500 certification for sensational visuals.
