Acer has announced 2 new addition to its Vero family that focuses on making great products while doing Mother Nature a favor.
The first new item is the Aspire Vero 15 laptop that packs a 15.6-inch IPS display with 100% sRGB color gamut, an up to 13th Gen Intel Core i7 CPU with Iris Xe Graphics, at most 16GB LPDDR5 RAM, and a maximum of 1TB PCIe SSD storage.
The ratio of post-consumer recycled (PCR) plastics for this model has also been increased from 30% to 40% while keycaps and adapters are made out of half PCR materials and half minted ones. The OceanGlass trackpad makes use of ocean-bound plastics to make for a great feel and cause with packaging only uses 100% recycled papers and up to 90% recycled cardboard.
For those looking for a smart projector, the new Vero PL3510ATV Smart Projecto should do the trick. Rated to protect 1080p footage, it utilizes a dynamic 4,800 ANSI lumens laser diode capable of reaching a contrast ratio of 50,000:1 so your videos and images look sharp and clear from a distance.
It can also adjust 2D keystone and 4 corner correction to adapt itself onto any surface with elevated angles while the lens shift feature can make tiny adjustments without the user moving the entire projector unit.
The built-in 10W speaker is there to churn out audio if you don’t have an external speaker around in which it does support connecting to all sorts of peripherals such as Bluetooth speakers, Chromecast support, screen mirroring from other sources, and more.
Pricing and Availability
The Acer Aspire Vero 15 will become available starting June with a starting price of USD699.99 while the Vero PL3510ATV Smart Projector is at EUR1,399 launching in September.
