Another day, another round of NVIDIA updates but for today, not only gamers are getting the good stuff but also industry workers such as devs and presses are onto something special as well.
To start off, Forza Horizon 5 is welcoming the arrival of DLSS 3 for fellow GeForce RTX 40 series users to power up their gameplay with more frames at zero compromises that easily achieves 4K120FPS at max settings without any problem. DLSS 2 is still here to stay for the old folks though.
Speaking of DLSS 2, 5 titles are getting that update as well which includes ‘Deceive Inc.’, ‘Tchia’, ‘Smalland: Survive the Wilds’, ‘Gripper’, and the long-awaited ‘The Last of Us Part 1’ so check them out if you’ve been playing or just started playing them.
Moving away from the gamer room and into the industry section, the DLSS Frame Generation tech is now open for all developers to integrate into the games and applications for an easy FPS boost across the majority of software they come across. It is available over at NVIDIA Streamline.
On the other hand, the NVIDIA Image Comparison and Analysis Tool (ICAT) which is widely used by image analysis and experts for quality comparison across static images and moving videos, is getting an update for HEVC support on top of the ability to export analysis as a video file for easy sharing across platforms. It can now show up to 4 screenshots or videos with sliders, side-by-sides, and pixel-peeping zoom-ins.
