TAIPEI, TAIWAN – Cooler Master launches the 12th running of the Case Mod World Series (CMWS), the eminent competition for case modders of all talents, skills, and resource levels from across the world. The Cooler Master Case Mod World Series is a celebration of the maker spirit, and represents the creative and technical flair of the global creator community through the shapes and forms of system and peripherals customisation, truly embodying the Wired Different approach.
CMWS Dates and Eligibility.
The Cooler Master Case Mod World Series will run throughout the second half of 2022, progressing from 01/July to 13/January 2023. Projects started on or after 01/January 2022 are eligible for the 12th Case Mod World Series (CMWS). Any project started in 2022 is eligible to enter the 2022 CMWS. Entry registrations open on 01/August 2022 and entries close on 19/December 2022.

Whether you’ve got Dreams Money Can Buy or feeling C.R.E.A.M., there is a large cash prize pool up for grabs!
With USD$22,500 in cash prizes across six (6) categories, the Case Mod World Series is set to reward the creative masterpieces of the world’s top modders, makers, innovators, and artists. The categories will cover best tower mod, best scratch build, best use of reusable materials, best craftmanship, best art direction, and best non-PC mod. Winners will be announced on 13/January 2023. Sustainability is Future Thinking.
When considering environmental impact, sustainability, and a prosperous future, Cooler Master acknowledges that if we don’t collectively act now, as a global community, the opportunity to take meaningful and effective action towards change will pass us by. With the immediacy of this endeavour front of mind, alongside concept development projects such as the soon to be announced CM Hemp PC concept project, it was fitting to align a whole judging category and cash prize to the pursuit of sustainability.
Cooler Master is excited to host creative, innovative, and thoughtful ideas applied to drive sustainability in the modding space. Modders are encouraged to review material use and integration in a new light, pursuing re-use through upcycling, recycling, and application of alternative materials to embrace practices aligned with a greener future.
Judging Panel.
The judging panel will be announced soon, with representation spanning community, industry, and creativity. Over the years, the Case Mod World Series has enjoyed strong input and participation from the world’s leading modders in both entries and judging.
