Optimised for work in extreme conditions
Working on a device during outdoor field work can be challenging with the inevitable screen glare. Panasonic has addressed this issue with the TOUGHBOOK A3’s 10.1-inch outdoor-viewable display (1920×1200), which offers high visibility and clarity for both outdoor and indoor use. With the added rain and glove touch functionality, the 10-point capacitive touchscreen display can also be used with bare hands, gloved hands or the capacitive stylus pen for accurate annotation and signature collection even in rainy conditions.
To facilitate communication for mobile workers, the TOUGHBOOK A3 comes with a front camera and mic for video conferencing and a back camera with flash for document and image capture. With communication made easy, workers can have peace of mind to truly work from anywhere without needing to scramble for their next virtual meeting.
Catering to workers in the field for extended periods of time, the TOUGHBOOK A3 boasts a battery life of 9 hours[1] with standard batteries, and dual battery capabilities to provide it with an additional 15 hours of uptime through the optional large batteries.
Unparalleled flexibility to meet every business need
The TOUGHBOOK A3 comes configured with robust enterprise features, including a USB Type-C® (USB 3.0) and USB Type-A (USB 2.0), as well as three different customisable gadget port options in five different combinations which allows the device to be customised to meet the exact business requirements, including an optional smartcard reader, barcode reader or an additional USB Type-A (USB 2.0).
For maximum user functionality, the TOUGHBOOK A3 comes with five user-defined buttons for users to customise shortcuts based on their needs – from launching custom applications, to the barcode reader, to running a set routine.
The TOUGHBOOK A3 can also be docked in vehicles, with unrivalled communication capabilities with Bluetooth 5.0 to deliver faster data exchange or communicate over longer distances. Supporting WLAN IEEE802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/d/h/i/r/k/v/w with MIMO functionality, the tablet also ensures mission-critical connectivity for users to stay connected wherever they are.
