SINGAPORE, 27 March 2020 – Huawei today announced that Singapore will be the first country in Asia to launch its latest flagship HUAWEI P40 Series. Set to hit stores on 4 April 2020, the HUAWEI P40 Series represents Huawei’s vision of mobile photography that is bolstered with improved AI performance and 5G[1] support. The HUAWEI P40 Series is the company’s first product line-up that is powered with 5G-enabled connectivity across its variants.

The HUAWEI P40 and P40 Pro will be available in Silver Frost (left), Blush Gold (middle), and Deep Sea Blue (Right).

AppGallery, the official app marketplace of Huawei, is pre-installed on the HUAWEI P40 Series. Huawei is committed to improving the user experience. To date, AppGallery is available in over 170 countries/regions with 400 million monthly active users globally. It provides apps across 18 categories including lifestyle, travel and entertainment.
More apps can now be found in the AppGallery including banks such as UOB Mighty App; taxi operator ComfortDelGro and ride-hailing companies such as TADA and RYDE. Huawei is also currently working with DBS and OCBC to integrate more mobile banking apps which consumers can look forward to download on AppGallery soon.
