LG just announced the launch of their latest mid-tier smartphone, the LG Q7+, that aims to be better than its predecessor in every way. Coming out this July 7th in Aurora Black and Moroccan Blue, it is priced accordingly at S$598.
The LG Q7+ improves their 8MP camera with an additional Portrait mode, as well as a Phase Detection Auto Focus for 23% quicker focusing on subjects. Not to mention, it also offers DTS:X 3D Surround Sound (up to 7.1) for headphone users.
The device comes with a 5.5-inch FHD+ FullVision 18:9 aspect ratio display (442ppi). While housing all its components is its 2.5D Arc Glass design that proudly showcases its rounded-edges that is now a staple for many smartphones.
The LG Q7+ will be available at StarHub, M1, and all other authorized LG retailers.

SINGAPORE, July 3, 2018 — LG Electronics (LG) will be launching the LG Q7+, its newest mid-range smartphone of the series that offers premium features typically found in flagship models. The LG Q6 that debuted in 2017 developed a fan base, being the first in its class to offer a 5.5-inch FHD+ FullVision 18:9 aspect ratio display in a thin-bezel body. The LG Q7+ builds on that foundation with even more high-end features such as Portrait mode; DTS:X 3D Surround Sound and more.

Camera with Added Features for More Artistic Shots
The LG Q7+ features an 8MP front-facing camera with Portrait mode, which allows users to take selfies with blurred backgrounds for a creative bokeh effect. With the LG Q7+, shutterbugs will not miss any shots when a subject is constantly moving thanks to the Phase Detection Auto Focus on the rear camera, which is 23 percent faster than traditional auto focus.
Surround Sound for an Immersive Audio Experience
The LG Q7+ is also the first in its category to offer DTS:X to deliver virtual 3D surround sound, up to 7.1 channel audio through headphones for users to enjoy their favorite entertainment while on the move.
Rear Fingerprint Sensor for Easy Unlocking and Smooth User Control
The addition of the Smart Rear Key fingerprint sensor complements the premium experience of the LG Q7+. The rear fingerprint sensor located conveniently below the camera lens not only allows users to unlock the phone easily, it can also double as the camera shutter and screenshot button, as well for controlling the notification bar.
A Build That Is Both Stylish and Sturdy
The LG Q7+ features a 2.5D Arc Glass design with rounded-edges that makes the device comfortable to hold and operate with one hand. In addition, the metallic body and rear metal frame of the Q7+ provide a sturdy build.
