– After
completing the Singapore and Malaysia online qualifiers and finalising the
Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam and Philippines invitational team, the CPL
Championship for PlayerUnknown’s Battleground (PUBG), partnered by
MSI, is opening up the remaining 14 tournament team slots to the public
from Asia for registration with immediate effect.

Championship for PlayerUnknown’s Battleground (PUBG), partnered by
MSI, is opening up the remaining 14 tournament team slots to the public
from Asia for registration with immediate effect.
Taking place on 9-10
June 2018 at Asia GAME Festival 2018, the tournament will have a
prize pool of $10,000 with the winner of the Championship receiving the honour
of being crowned the first CPL Regional Champion for PUBG.

The Singaporean and
Malaysian online qualifiers that happened on 19 and 27 May respectively saw the
“theg00dguys”(Singapore) and “Sabah Top 1”(Malaysia) wining the right to
represent their country. Both teams will be present at the CPL Championship –
PUBG as well.

In addition, Asia GAME
Festival will be inviting one team down from Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia and
the Philippines to compete with the qualified teams from Singapore and
Malaysia. The teams to be invited were done in consultation with PUBG
Corporation, based on the teams past performance and popularity with the community.
The names of the invited teams will be announced soon.

With the 6 team slots
being reserved for the 6 countries representatives, the remaining 14 team slots
will be open for registrations to the public from Asia to sign up on a
first-come, first-served basis, and fulfilling the various registration
documentation requirement.
