Sony Mobile Communications Singapore today launched three smartphone
innovations in Singapore including the Sony Xperia XZ2, Xperia XZ2 Compact and
Xperia L2.

First introduced at Mobile World Congress earlier
this year, Sony showcased the Xperia XZ2 and Xperia XZ2 Compact to headline its
flagship range in a beautiful new design that takes smartphone entertainment to
the extreme. Both models will be available exclusively for preorder from 29
March – 12 April 2018 at all Sony Store, Sony Centre, and on the Lazada Singapore
website. These flagship models along with the super mid-range Xperia L2 will be
available for purchase at operators and authorised Sony retail partners from 14

Entertainment
to the Extreme – Pushing the viewing experience to the extreme, the Xperia

XZ2 has an extended 5.7” Full HD+ HDR display so
users can immerse themselves in their favourite movies and content in
exceptional colour, contrast and detail. Using Sony’s BRAVIA® TV technology,
X-reality™ for mobile, the phone will up-convert all content to near High
Dynamic Range (HDR) for better quality playback. The XZ2 also incorporates a
new haptic experience, Sony’s brand new Dynamic Vibration System, adding the
perceptual sense of touch so users can feel the viewing experience, bringing
movies, games and videos to life.

Extreme video
and photo capabilities – Motion Eye™ camera is pushed to the extreme and
gets a ground-breaking upgrade with the world’s 1st 4K HDR Movie recording in a
smartphone using HLG (Hybrid Log Gamma) format. Users can now capture reality
with incredible contrast, detail and true to life colour. Super slow motion
video recording is also upgraded with 960fps now possible in Full HD to make
wow moments even more fascinating. In addition to creating 3D scans of objects
or friends’ faces in less than a minute using the main camera, users can now
also create 3D scans of themselves using the front camera, where 3D scans and
selfies can be posted directly to Facebook within 3D Creator.

Ultimate
performance – Encased in a new design with a fluid 3D glass surface on the
outside, the Xperia XZ2 is powered by the cutting-edge Qualcomm® Snapdragon™
845 Mobile Platform with X20 LTE on the inside. With a large 3180mAh battery,
the XZ2 also comes with Xperia’s Smart Stamina, STAMINA mode, Battery Care and
Qnovo Adaptive Charging technology, which helps the battery stay healthy for
longer. For effortless charging, users can use the wireless charging dock

The
Xperia XZ2 is coming to Singapore in three different finishes, including Liquid
Silver, Liquid Black and Deep Green at a suggested retail price of S$998. The

The Xperia L2 brings a large display, long-lasting
