“When we looked at the
current healthcare system in Singapore, we realized that there is a lack of
information regarding a patient’s progress after being treated for depression.
This prompted us to find a solution that provides the doctor with timely
information to accurately diagnose the patient’s problem,” said Yong Zhun Hung,
leader of The X Team. “Our solution is designed to help patients cope with
their journey through recovery, in the form of a virtual friend. The solution
leverages the use of artificial intelligence and machine learning and provides
personalized conversations to patients, thereby enabling a more accurate
diagnosis from the doctors.”
