has the second fastest fixed and mobile download speeds in the world

ViewQwest is the fastest
broadband ISP in Singapore, followed by My Republic, M1, StarHub and Singtel

SINGAPORE, 24 May, 2017 – Singapore has the second fastest fixed and mobile
download speeds in the world, while ViewQwest is the fastest broadband Internet
Service Provider in Singapore, followed by My Republic, M1, StarHub and
Singtel.

Ookla, the folks behind
Speedtest.net, released its Speedtest Market Report (insert hyperlink) today
for Singapore. Its research covers the period Q4 2016 to Q1 2017.

Here are some of the key
findings:

(1)  With an average fixed broadband download speed of
180.61 Mbps and an average mobile download speed of 44.37 Mbps, Singapore ranks
second in the world for both.

(2)  ViewQwest had the fastest download speeds at 899.35
Mbps for fixed broadband and came in second for upload speeds at 593.43Mbps
