The original XG Station
In 2007, ASUS introduced the world’s first external
graphics solution that allows laptops to achieve cutting-edge gaming
performance by tapping into potent desktop graphics. The original XG station even
came with an OSD (on-screen-display) and allowed you to adjust the GPU clock,
fan speed and volume. Back then, adding a desktop NVIDIA 8600GT to your laptop
was highly sought-after.
