first Casio Smart Outdoor Watch with Android Wear™, the Casio WSD-F10, in
Singapore. From 8 September 2016, sports lovers and outdoor enthusiasts
will be able to get their hands on the WSD-F10 which will be available at
selected G-FACTORY stores and licensed retailers island wide.

Designed for the tech-savvy
adventurer, the Smart Outdoor Watch combines rock-solid functional endurance
with advanced technology. Featuring all-encompassing specifications capable of
enhancing a broad variety of outdoor activities, the Smart Outdoor Watch is the

Master the outdoors with handy
in-built applications

Powered by Android Wear[1] with iOS
compatibility on selected applications[2], the Smart Outdoor
Watch comes with pre-installed applications to support outdoor activities,
including innovative applications designed to measure environmental changes and
monitor the user’s personal performance by tracking speed and distance covered.

The Smart Outdoor Watch also links to
the Casio Moment Setter+ smartphone app[3] to provide
essential information for activities such as trekking, cycling, and fishing.
Users can configure the application to automatically send information based on
previously set conditions such as speed, distance, time of sunrise and break
timing.

It can also help fishing enthusiasts
anticipate when fish will be most active by providing atmospheric pressure tendency information that can help
anticipate weather changes and high and low tide timings.

Users can expand the Smart Outdoor
Watch’s feature set by installing additional applications of their choice to
chart the best course of action and realise their full potential in the great
outdoors.

Military-grade features primed to
endure the elements

The Smart Outdoor Watch is designed
for optimal performance even in extreme environmental conditions. Its tough
performance model complies with military standard endurance tests specified by
the U.S. Department of Defense so that it can withstand drop shocks, high
humidity, solar-radiation, temperature shocks and other demands of rugged
terrains.

As the first[4] smartwatch
with a built-in microphone to achieve 5 Bar water resistance, the Smart Outdoor
Watch assures protection even in the event of rain or water splashes from

display with separate monochrome and colour liquid crystal displays (LCDs) also

LCD provides a vivid display of performance information.

power-conserving Timepiece Mode to toggle as needed between the two displays,
displaying only time data in monochrome when applications are not in use.

EX-FR100 Outdoor Camera

As an added feature, the Smart
Outdoor Watch syncs with Casio’s EXILIM EX-FR100 Outdoor Camera via Bluetooth
Smart™ technology and can be used as a secondary display module to remotely
control the camera.

Adventurers can continue living in
the moment and capture highlights while on the go and extend the EX-FR100’s
hands-free shooting capabilities with ease for creating lasting memories.
