Lenovo introduces devices for forward thinkers
Featuring the newly expanded ThinkPad X1 portfolio and svelte new portables that pack a punch
Singapore, March 4, 2016 – Lenovo (HKSE: 992) (ADR: LNVGY) unveiled its next generation of innovative devices. Designed for forward thinkers, the devices include the highly innovative Think X1 portfolio, featuring the ThinkPad X1 Tablet, X1 YOGA, X1 Carbon and the ThinkCentre X1 All-in-One (AIO), as well as portables that pack a punch – the YOGA 900S as well as ideapads 700 and 710S.

ThinkPad X1 Tablet – A tablet with a modular design
Offering something no other tablet can, the ThinkPad X1 Tablet adds functionality through three simple clip-on optional modules – the Productivity Module that increases battery life up to 15 hours; the Presenter Module, that includes a pico projector and HDMI port; and the 3D Imaging Module that comes together with a rear-facing Intel® RealSense camera.
Perfect for business on-the-go, the 12” tablet weighs less than 800g and is as thin as a pencil at 0.3”. With its detachable full size ThinkPad keyboard snapped into place, the X1 Tablet transforms into an ultra-light laptop a little over 1 kg. Complete with the iconic TrackPoint, it comes with three adjustable typing angles and recreates the classic ThinkPad keystroke feel. What’s more, it is the first Windows tablet with LTE Advanced support for superfast connectivity from virtually anywhere, and also features a removable rear panel for serviceability and upgrades.
ThinkPad X1 YOGA – Ultrathin and ultralight, yet durable
Weighing a mere 1.27 kg and at 0.66” thin, the ThinkPad X1 YOGA is the world’s thinnest and lightest 14″ 2-in-1 business Ultrabook. Featuring the YOGA’s four iconic modes – Laptop, Stand, Tablet, and Tent – the X1 YOGA is the first convertible to showcase an optional OLED display that reproduces outstanding colors and deeper blacks, and lasts up to 11 hours on a full charge. With a patented Lift and Lock keyboard that retracts keys in tablet mode, it also comes with a dockable and rechargeable stylus pen that gives you up to 100 minutes of use on a single 15-second charge. ThinkPad X1 Carbon (4th Gen) – The lightest 14” business Ultrabook on the planet
Built on a solid reputation for mobility and performance, the fourth generation ThinkPad X1 Carbon stands out as the lightest 14” Ultrabook on the planet. Constructed with satellite-grade carbon fiber and starting at just 1.2 kg and at 0.65” thin, it is also Lenovo’s toughest ThinkPad yet. Equipped with a full-sized, spill-resistant, backlit keyboard, the lithe Ultrabook allows users to stay unplugged throughout the day with up to 11 hours of battery life on a single charge. YOGA 900S – The world’s thinnest convertible laptop[2]
Beautifully slim and noticeably lighter than its predecessors, the YOGA 900S comes with a new carbon fiber construction at 0.5” thin and a little above 900g. Featuring up to 10.5 hours[3] of video playback, travelers can slip it into their carry-on luggage and fly from Singapore to New Zealand on a single charge. ideapad 710S – Light and speedy
For those looking to shed some weight, the 13” ideapad 710S is an incredibly compact and portable option for those on the move. Weighing just 1.16kg without sacrificing performance, the laptop comes fully equipped with up to 6th Gen Intel Core processor. Not only does it offer optional Intel Iris® graphics and an ultra-narrow 5mm bezel display (almost 50% thinner than its rivals), it cranks up the speed with up to 256GB high-speed PCIe SSD so users can launch apps and transfer files faster than ever. With up to three times[4]faster connection speed than the standard WiFi, users can also seamlessly surf the Web and access online cloud storage in a flash.
Pricing and Availability*
The ThinkPad X1 Tablet will be bundled in a set with a ThinkPad keyboard in black, red or silver and a Module. Pricing and availability will be advised at a later date.
The ThinkPad X1 YOGA will be available from March 2016, starting at SGD 3,099.
The ThinkPad X1 Carbon (4th Gen) will be available from March 2016, starting at SGD 2,949.
The ThinkCentre X1 AIO will be available from the end of April 2015, starting at SGD 1,899.
The YOGA 900S will Gold and Silver be available from April 2016, starting from SGD 2,299.
The ideapad 700 is available in Black and is currently in stores, starting at SGD 1,499.
The ideapad 710S will be available in Gold and Silver in mid April 2016, starting at SGD 1,099.
