Epson Adds Top-Of-The-Line Ink Tank System Printer to Its Revolutionary L-series in Singapore

[Singapore, 15 July 2015] – Epson, the world leader in digital imaging and printing solutions, gave a preview of its top-of-the-line ink tank system printer, the L655, today in Singapore. The L655 is the flagship model for the revolutionary L-series ink tank system printers, and is the world’s first duplex ink tank system printer.

Epson took the guests on a trip down memory lane as 13 L-series printers, including the L655, were showcased as part of the event. From color single function, color multi-function to photo printers for A4 and A3 printing, they depict the evolutionary journey of the world’s first ink tank system printer series, pioneered by Epson in 2012.

During the launch, Epson shared about the L-series, which are strongly suited especially for SOHOs and SMEs who value the high productivity and cost savings from the printers. Since the launch of the L-series in Singapore, it makes up 46% of the overall sales in FY14.

The feature-rich L655 offers the world’s lowest cost in duplex printing, and takes the ink tank system printer range to new heights with an advanced PrecisionCore technology printhead and multiple connectivity options. It is also the first L-Series model that allows users to print water and smudge-resistant black and white printouts, and lab-quality glossy photos when printing on photo media paper. Guests were able to check out and examine the printer as well as printouts during the session.
