SINGAPORE, October 2, 2014 — HP and iPass Inc. (NASDAQ: IPAS), the world’s largest Wi-Fi network, today announced that select (1) HP notebook and tablet PCs will include the option to access the iPass global Wi-Fi network.
Through this agreement, iPass and HP will make it simpler and more affordable for consumers in Asia Pacific and Japan to connect to the internet locally and stay connected even when they are traveling. Customers who purchase new HP notebook and tablet PCs with this option will be able to register and automatically get access to millions of hotspots on the iPass global Wi-Fi network(2) for one year at no additional cost. The first of HP’s products with this option should be available from October 2014(3).
