LG might be adopting MediaTek MT6595 8-core processor for the upcoming G3.
Recently, LG’s internal User profile has been leaked.The model is LG-D850, with a resolution up to 2560 x 1440, which is likely to be LG’s next generation flagship phone G3. Prior to this information, it has been suspected that LG would be using the MediaTek processor.
Although most smartphones in the market use Qualcomm processors, this phone might differ from them. According to a screenshot from GFXBench, LG-D850 would be using a 2560 x 1440 resolution display, Android 4.4 KitKat OS and MediaTek MT6595 8-core 2.2 GHz processor.
The MediaTek MT6595 employs ARM’s big.LITTLE™ architecture with MediaTek’s CorePilot™ technology, in order to create the utmost Octacore performance. Four ARM Cortex-A17 and four Cortex-A7 will make up the processor, making the world’s first integrated LTE SoS chipset product.
