Singapore, 5 December 2013 – EZ-Link Pte Ltd announces the launch of the world’s first mobile app for the topping up of EZ-Link cards using Near Field Communication (NFC) technology.
Topping up of the EZ-Link card used to be a hassle, especially when one finds his or her card low in value upon tapping the card on the card reader in the morning rush hour. Or when one boards a bus and ran out of coins. Or zipping past the ERP gantry with fifty cents in the ERP-friendly card.
My EZ-Link Mobile is a very convenient app which brings topping up of your card to your mobile devices, along with many other uses. Not only making the top-up process cashless through NFC technology, the app also enables management of multiple EZ-Link cards, card balance viewing, card transaction viewing and personalization of the app.
Wirecard AG, a global leading specialist in payment processing and issuing, is one of EZ-Link’s key partners in the development of the app, making mobile payment fast and easy. In collaboration with Samsung, MasterCard and McAfee, EZ-Link also brings this app to the android platform and making transaction more secure.

Available for download for free at the Google Play Store and compatible with selected NFC Android phones. Each top-up comes with a convenience fee of S$0.30 per transaction, which will be waived for a promotional period of six months for MasterCard holders from the date of launch.
