Codenamed SO-02F, mini Z1, Sony Xperia Z1 f leaked.

There have been talks about a mini version of the Sony Xperia Z1, however those speculations remained as rumours as no photos or information pertaining to the device are leaked or shown. However, even before we try to push away the idea of a mini Z1, Japanese Telco NTT DoCoMo accidentally leaked some of their internal documents, confirming the mini Z1. The mini Z1 will be known as Xperia Z1 f and codenamed SO-02F.

Sources pointed out that the Z1 f uses a 4.3 inch 1280 x 720 resolution display. It will have the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor which is also found in the Z1/Z1 Ultra. It will also have 2GB of RAM, built in 16GB storage and microSD card storage expansion capabilities.

Z1 f is said to have the same 20.7 megapixel camera like the Z1 and also a 2.2 megapixel front camera. However, as the phone will be smaller in size, the battery capacity has to be reduced to 2,300mAh.

The phone will also be IP58 water and dust resistant. It will also support LTE networks. It has a dimension of 127 x 64.9 x 9.4mm. This time, the Z1 f will be available in fluoroscent pink and green on top of classis black and white. However, it seems that purple will not be available this time.
