The budget iPhone looks really... budget

There have been rumours that Apple will be releasing a new line of iPhone devices targeted at emerging markets. These budget iPhones were said to come in different colours and is said to look similar to the current generation of iPod Touch. However, it seems like the low cost iPhones seem to look much more budget than those devices. With the leaks of the exterior of the budget iPhone circulating around the internet, we begin to feel skeptical with Apple's move. Is the budget iPhone really going to take off?

What you see above is said to be the chassis of the new budget iPhone. Looks pretty budget ain't it? It seems to be made of plastic and has a standard Apple logo, iPhone branding. As seen from the images, the budget iPhone will have a single LED flash light for low light camera action. Judging from the leaked images, the new budget iPhone should be quite thin and about the size of the current iPod Touch.

The images were leaked by a Weibo(Micro-Blog) user who is known for his connections with factory workers in China. The photos has been allegedly photographed in a Foxconn facility.
