Windows 8 great built in Antivirus technologies and already preinstalled software such as Windows Defender to prevent your computer from infecting malicious software virus. If you think Windows Defender is still not good enough and wishes to look for better alternatives, there are also many renowned brands at IT SHOW 2013. We take a look at some which has crossed our eyes and look at their prices. You can also be assured that these software are all legitimate and note pirated products.
KASPERSKY
Prices are shown according to the pictures, with Kaspersky Anti Virus 1 User licence at $29, 3 user at $49. Kaspersky Internet Security 1 user license at $39 and 3 User at $75 while Kaspersky PURE, which is a Total Protection software for 3 user licenses costs $95.
Kaspersky also has a unique USB drive based Antivirus technology called Tech Titan. Tech Titan T-Drive Pro USB- KAV is a unique portable anti-virus solution specifically designed to be installed in and executed from USB storages.
SYMANTEC NORTON
Friendly Symantec promoters are ready at their booths to guide you with their latest and greatest antivirus products.
Their shelves area also stocked up, so there won’t be a worry for stocks running out. Norton Anti-Virus Software License for 1 User is currently priced at $39 while 3 User License is at $59. Norton Internet Security is priced at $49 for 1 user and $79 for 3 users. Norton Mobile Security costs $12.90.
In case you’re wondering what Norton mobile Security does, it’s simply an antivirus application to be installed on any iOS or Android enabled devices. As mobile smartphones gets mainstream, attackers are starting to attack these devices. Norton’s initiative to protect these phones is a great move from them.
MCAFEE
McAfee full suite of security software are also available at IT SHOW 2013. The licenses will last 1 year. Do take note that these are 2012 editions and should be updated to 2013.
McAfee license are all for 3 users and are probably the cheapest among the rest. Antivirus plus costs $29, Internet Security costs $49 while Total Protection costs $59.
TREND MICRO
Trend Micro has got their TITANIUM Maximum Security software security solutions at IT SHOW 2013.
These antivirus software costs differently from 1 user to 5 users. Trend Micro is using freebies to attract more customers. For Maximum Security, a 1 user license costs 29 with a free Mobile Security license. For 2 Users, it’s 59 with a free 8GB Flash Drive. 3 Users license is at $89 with a Free sennheiser headset. Lastly, there’s 5 User pack at $129 with a free mobile power bank.
Trend Micro also has got their own Mobile Security application for Android Mobile Operating System called Trend Micro Mobile Security.
