Singapore (December 7, 2012) — The new Windows 8 ZENBOOK™
Touch, which combines the award-winning stunning slim design with a 10-point
touch function, will be available in Singapore starting December 8 at S$2,498. Singapore
will lead to launch the new Windows 8 ZENBOOK
Touch model.

true-to-life sound with the exclusive SonicMaster audio technology co-developed
with Bang & Olufsen®, IPS display panel for a brilliant image

Powerful performance

Built for an
unmitigated HD multimedia in a lean and efficient form factor, ZENBOOK Touch employs the powerful 3rd
generation Intel® Core™ i7 processor, which can boast up to 3.0GHz of clocking
speed with Turbo Technology. With powerful integrated HD 4000 graphics, 4GB RAM
onboard and enhanced with fast SSD storage of 256GB, it enables improved
performance with a reduced power draw. Dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0 offer
high-performance wireless connectivity, while both USB 3.0 ports offer full
support for the latest high-speed external storage devices and rapid mobile device
recharging. ASUS Super Hybrid Engine II technology also gives ZENBOOK Touch longer battery life too,
and up to two weeks’ standby time with two-second resume from hibernation.

multimedia enjoyment

The one-piece chiclet backlit keyboards that
automatically respond to ambient light levels and large highly responsive multi-touch
touchpads make ZENBOOK Touch the
perfect productivity tool. To foster greater ease of use and accessibility, the
touchpads incorporate the ASUS Smart Gesture technology, which encourage smooth
haptic inputs that guarantee a more enhanced user experience with the
touch-powered device. In addition, the capacitive 10-point touch all-glass full
HD display is also featured on the ZENBOOK
Touch for intuitive fingertip control with the new Windows 8, and a quick
and easy way to work with large multimedia libraries. This is further enhanced
by the incorporation of IPS technology, which gives a bright, vibrant image
with accurate colours and 178° wide viewing angle.

 

ZENBOOK Touch is
