Introduction
Amongst the launch of the HD 6800 series from AMD we’ve seen a new driver hit us in the form of the 10.10. I’m going to keep it a little brief as I continue to work hard on more HD 6800 series content and no doubt have to prepare for the launch of the HD 6900 series next. So let’s look at the performance improvements AMD are telling us to expect and then just get stuck into it.
Aliens vs. Predator™ DirectX 11 Benchmark
Performance increases up to 6% on ATI Radeon HD 5800 Series single and CrossFire
Performance increases up to 5% on ATI Radeon HD 5700 Series single and CrossFire

Bob-“It seems like AMD is working hard with the new drivers, catalyst 10.10, bringing performance increase to almost all the 5XXX series of graphics cards. At the same time, the release of AMD RADEON 68XX will put the GPU wars to yet another level. I’m again even more eager to find out what the 69XX series will bring, as well as GTX580(which was rumoured to be 20% faster than GTX480).
Keep up the good work AMD!
